I am complaining that he wants to kill Medicare such that I will pay into the system my entire working life and yet receive a ridiculously reduced benefit under the crappy terms of his voucher plan.
There's no inconsistency here. I like Medicare, and I don't have a problem with supporting it. I just want it for me and all Americans, not just the currently old.
I know he doesn't like to say that, but that's the result of his proposals.
Talk about your class wars: he wants someone like me, age 39, to continue to pay into a system that I will not get as I am under 55. All in the name of 'preserving Medicare'.
Just a way to buy off the votes of the old against the young. What chaps my ass is that there seem to be a large number of people who are for this madness.
He says that as he's likely still profiting directly from companies which moved to China through his Bain holdings.
That's all fine and dandy if you're a private citizen, but why should the American voter be excited about rewarding that behavior and how can they believe that he wants to be President to help the American people?
There's no need to cling to such idiocy. There are myriad reasons to be upset with the President. Stupid BS about birth certificates, especially when you have seen it, take away from legitimate criticism.
I'm not sure how we can get politicians to actual listen to their constituents when their money and their blowjobs come from narrow rich and powerful interests.
Perhaps we could crowdsource blowjobs for politicians? Then we just have to worry about getting the money out.
Farming out the way you think about something is actually quite common for humans.
Look at the way that battles are fought in DC. Often times, the affiliation of the politico is more important than the actual issue.
Republicans who don't care about the deficit for 8 years of Bush suddenly care.
Democrats who railed against wars under Bush, are suddenly silent when Obama is president.
There are a certain group of people who get skeezed out anytime someone mentions the "People". These same people also purport to be stalwart defenders of the US Constitution.
Heh...it's only on the first line, 3rd word. They even wrote it in big letters.

That hasn't stopped them yet.
There's widespread support for a host of other things.
That hasn't meant that the government has addressed them.
Corrupt and disconnected.
