I would be amazed if anyone has heard of "lunix", hell, even i haven't! (It's Linux btw, to any who were confused at the (geeky) sarcasm)
And besides the odds are about 1% of the computer using populations, so about 10,000,000 people. world wide.
(if the computer using population is only 1 billion, of course)
Wait till get mine. Wonder what they would say to a laptop that doesn't boot into a GUI? Hell, I'd even log in, not like they could find their way around.
I want to say that this is bad, but the dud set up a FREE service. It is very rare for a company to take a good idea that is free and try to make it work, even if his actions up to this point were selfish.
I'm pretty sure they have been around the last half century. What we need is a good war to make big corporations sit down and shut up for a few years. Im thinking we take back the Moon.
Their mistress may be harsh, but our nukes are harsher.
How do you force someone to charge?
That is like saying that all software devs MUST charge. Doesn't make too much sense. If i make something, I should be allowed to sell it at $0 if I feel like it.
I think we can agree on this:
Google was being a skank for giving up the blogger's identity, the model was being a skank because, well...,I mean she IS a model, and the blogger was a skank for picking blogspot.
There. now who else wants to be skank?
Until you realize that, as a 100% Linux user, I am almost* completely immune from all viri. and am Completely immune from windows viri.
That kind of thinking, that open source isn't "good" for security purposes is complexity stupid when you realize that a majority of Firewalls in the world are Linux based. Or was I supposed to let you have your little fantasies that closed source is somehow more secure? Time has proven it is not. But maybe you have proof. Would love to see it.
as a user of open source software, and a (bad) developer, I take exception at that. But then again, its a capitalistic society. TANSTAAFL is ingrained in the psyche.
i can't stop laughing over the imagery in this one. I see lots of flames behind an old librarian/nun type wagging their finger at you while being 15 feet tall and towering over you.
Re: Copyright proponents argunents are self-contradictory
I hate to see how CC by sa works and Open source software fits in their world view. I wonder if it would be one of those "we can hear you! nanananana!"
I use file sharing all the time for completely legal reasons. Linux ISO's is a big one.
Can usually find em on all of the big torrent sites.
Thanks for playing though.
I am not sure whether to weep or laugh.
Im going to go for 2 until i do 1.
This is pretty sad all around. Really both should be beaten by consumers.
And I am a consumer of the SEC
