I don't like this at all. It seems like now if you have a problem with someone, say, the RIAA. they can now talk to your hosts and get your personal information. At what point is this a good thing? I think the judge in this case should be beaten into being smart. and the skank. she is such a skank (whoever the hell 'she' is)
That is about the gulf I see between me an my users (work in IT). What i want to know, is the patent only viable if you have number 17? last time i checked I don't form talk bubbles when i laugh or talk.
If i have something vital inside me, say blood, and it is patented, do i owe that company money? I have genes. I OWN THEM.
Besides, wouldn't all of Human History be prior art?
Just saying.
I think we are actually talking about the same thing in the long run. I guess I always just put "entitlement" in the same boat as people who want free money from the government and that they deserve it.
I guess greed is the basis of the "entitlement culture", huh?
I think that's how it works here...
The courts are too busy to see all the murderers, rapists, child molesters, drug dealers, thieves and other malcontents, and the prisons are too full to hold them there. The largest county (population-wise) houses our capitol and last I check, there are like 1000 loose criminals on the street because of the justice system. So maybe you should just shut the f### up and sit down.
I like your website, and agree with you on almost everything, but I don't quite see the "entitlement culture" angle, at least on this one. While I agree that the copyright case is stupid, how is this "entitlement" and not just money-hungry greedy S.O.B's out to ruin what little culture we have?
entitlement isn't a deadly sin, greed is.
wait, what? how is telling a friend of mine about a game me stealing something from the SEC. maybe you should get your head out of your ass and actually realize you are a fucking moron. See the world.

I would not put this under the b category, but it defiantly a.
