Pfft! More like a group of people who couldn't get out of jury duty...
I know, civil duty and all that, but most intelligent hard working people can rarely afford to take time off to serve on a jury and the bright ones can pretty easily show up for one day and get themselves disqualified.
Actually, I have observed .wmv (Windows Video) files which contained exploits. Oddly, I've never observed this behaviour with any other types of video files.
Let that be a lesson to you, never download wmv files!
Unless you run Linux and can laugh at Windows virus-laden pathetic ascii.
Also, Warez sites, pirated software in general, attachments from people you don't know, Microsoft Office Documents with embedded anything, or just generally speaking, running Windows in general is a good way to get viruses.
Why isn't Microsoft just censoring itself off the web entirely for the good of mankind?!?
However, knowing how inept the executors of said scheme are; they apparently never figured out the "cut and run" part--or somebody make a drunken dare "I'll bet you can't string them along for 50 years!" which was accepted; or something like that.
Wrap it in heat-dispersant material and then we'll drop it from orbit onto the RIAA headquarters. The kinetic energy alone should be enough to leave nothing but a smoking crater--and we can innocently claim we were just trying to pay them off.
If some other RIAA building continues their stupid escapades, well, rinse & repeat.
AT&T was acting in good faith, taking people words when they claimed they were calling from the US. Now, despite their putting in place a verification system--like the FCC mandated--they're still on the hook for billions of dollars? Why isn't the FCC suing the inept developers who made AT&T's verification system?!?
Here we're seeing an innocent monopolist hounded for obscene amounts of money due to simple corporate ineptitude.
Imagine if we did this to every big corporation with slipshod QA!!! We wouldn't have any big businesses left--and that would be tragic, since there's no innovation and no small businesses starting up in the US anymore.
Next time, you think hard before indemnifying big corporations--because they're the future.(and scene! ... hold for applause)
I wonder if Dodd is the same type of a-hole who excels in telemarketing?
Most people; being somewhat rational and empathic; cannot do well in telemarketing, but other sociopathic bastards absolutely excel at slyly manipulating people into doing things they know they'd be better off not doing...
Absolute agreement. If you work for me (eg politicians allegedly work for the populace) then you do not get to keep secrets from me, your timesheets are open to my inspection and you'll sit still and say "yes sir" when I offer you criticism.
The lion/lamb this is itself a reference to another book which contains many images of hate, murder, violence, bigotry, intolerance, incest, and vulgar sex.

Re: What wages?
I mean, they're in a 3rd world country, they probably get paid like 3 snotrags a week.
If only they had oil, we'd help them get a decent wage; right after we helped with a 'regime change' and democracy.
