That extremely lame, I seen laptops the have their windows keys and laptop worn off all time not very model or manufacture places a clear coat on those stickers to protect them. How times i have people lay their units and wet surfaces.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Why isn't the PD being sued as well?
Why is the price relevant? Over the last several years you can get a net book for 299.00 or a regular laptop for 349.00 brand new.So whats the resale price on a item that can be a year or more old and the person desperate to just get rid of it?
What i take away from this is the ISP, ISP, and/or backbone provider is pissed that the people who they sold the bandwith to are reselling the bandwith for more than what they initial sold to them for and want a cut of pie or a whole new charge?
Really? Easy to spot? They why did they let continue for two months? The system should have picked up two phones with the same ESN and stopped it. What if that person decided to phone murder or bomb threats. The SWAT team would smash down my door and haul me away. My phone my ESN. Same as MY IP and my modem.
I meant to have this posted under this fools comments
In the end, there is plenty of precedents regarding long distance bills on a home phone, example. An internet connection isn't really and different from a phone, and that if the customer decides to freely lend the connection / phone to other people, they are the ones legally on the hook for it's us"
Really... Then i guess i should have been responsible and paid that 6,000 $ cell phone bill that came in once.( back in the old days when i had the moto flip phone brick) It was my phone and ESN.
I guess my mother should also be responsible when her long distance bill came in for 500.00 $ since it was her actual land line and she made the calls! ( Her long distance carrier was changed without her permission to some unheard of provider with all sorts of stupid charges on top of her calls)

""The fact is that there are people on death row who were convicted on less evidence than is available here."
So, how many file-sharing cheapskates are on death row right now? Also please submit a few cases that show people in death row that were put there with less?
"All they check for generally is the flight number and gate. Beyond that, they are not name matching the board pass to the person, they are by sight matching the person to the ID.
It must have been a good boarding pass, the airline computer said it was okay and let him on the plane."
Just admit TSA failed and failed badly yet again. I guess its to much from the to read a couple big numbers and some letters! BTW i talking about looking at the the dam date and time! What the hell does the flight number and gate have to do with anything, what is that going to tell them.. Nothing is what.
TSA suppose to check that you have a valid id and boarding before you get anywhere near the gate. JFK airport in NYC i had to 3 different TSA stations to check my id and boarding pass. Only people with valid boarding passes suppose to go thru the last checkpoint before you can get to the gate.
"I don't think she's blaming Twitter and Facebook, she's blaming producers for reacting to them and other focus groups."
She is trying to shift blame away from herself. The show was a over a year behind schedule and was already hovering around 60 Million + to produce! To make matters worse she trying to say hey Shakespeare never had this happen to him, well when she can write and produce something near Shakespeare then she can try and use his name. She let her ego run the show and this is what happens when you over value your talent.
"Yesterday, the Depart of Education's office of inspector general executed a search warrant at Stockton California residence with the presence of local law enforcement authorities.
While it was reported in local media that the search was related to a defaulted student loan, that is incorrect. This is related to a criminal investigation. The Inspector General's Office does not execute search warrants for late loan payments."
The one thing I'm surprised nobody has bought up is; with mobile carriers and eventually local ISP's trying to move people to tiered service plans what effect will this have on cloud based services. I mean we are looking at storing hundreds of megabytes if not gigabytes worth of data to this cloud thing and having multiple devices access it.

interesting to see what comes out of this, still seems like overkill. Why SWAT? Its just a search warrant not an arrest warrant.
