Wait until someone with power looks into how recycling, global warming, cigarettes bought good PR and ran disinformation.
Perhaps they are just mad they paid journals instead of PACs.
It is really awesome how Juul is the whipping post for any and all vaping products that people used that caused harm. Juul did the same thing other companies have done, without anyone in gov actually stopping them, for decades... but some teens vaped some things they bought on sketchy internet sites or in ads on teen popular platforms (I mean really they are buying what they think is E via snapchat) and so it HAD to be Juul's fault.
Juul has had some incidents (leaking carts nicotine poisonings) & questionable marketing ideas (Doctors recommend Camel smokes) but latching every type of vaping to 1 single brand who never produced a THC cart is manipulating public perception into joining a battle against vaping as a whole b/c people aren't allowed to make their own decisions be they good bad or indifferent.
Its a pity that truth seems to always be the first casualty in these we're doing this for your own good campaigns. I mean imagine what we could have learned about CBD in the years we wasted pretending reefer would be the gateway to moral erosion of society as a whole.

Why is the FBI still stalking Muslims while ignoring the White Supremacists in their own midst?
The magician is saying look over here at these evil anonymous people online who were causing all of this fear & concern... but pay no attention to the months of planning in the open by those who stormed the Capitol.
Everyone has run across a troll online, not everyone has had a real world crazy. But much like the 10 trillion child traffickers we keep hearing about in breathless 'true' stories on online, we hear stories about people being harassed online & how no one can stop them.
Many of these stories share common elements but almost always miss the important things...
I never blocked them, I thought I could talk sense into them, I got my friends to engage with them to get them to stop... I fed the weirdo & I was shocked just shocked he kept doing things to get attention to feed on. After this went on for 2 years then I demanded the platform do something, but they refused to move fast enough to stop my 2 years of terror to please me.
Politicians fear anonymous people online, because they can speak truth they wish people wouldn't know. Not all of the nyms in the world are crazies, despite the best attempts to paint them that way. Sometimes people discover that the 'crazy' actually was telling the truth about something important, but until that lightbulb goes off for others its much easier to just believe the claims they are a troll bothering those nice lawyers who never did nothing to anyone... rolls his eyes
Humans enjoy having labels on things, the problem is they stuff so many things into the labels they become useless. Someone screaming 'I was raped' gets a response because rape is bad... but sometimes you dig in and discover they were the victim of "eye rape". Then the whole thing devolves into people defending the idea rape is bad by protecting the eye rape victim as well, to make sure other people feel empowered to speak about their incident & not worry they will be ignored.
MP had a crazy.
No one seems interested in why the crazy disliked the MP.
MP jumps on the 'internet bad' bandwagon.

Trolls on the internet are in their own little skinner boxes.
Say something mean, get a pellet.
Say something mean, get a pellet.
Say something more mean, get a bigger pellet.
Your target involves their social circle, get more pellets from more levers.

If the troll isn't getting a response because you just said screw them, block/report them, & not give them a pellet they might try to hit the lever a couple more times but they will be looking for a better pellet source elsewhere.

I've always wondered why they didn't just build 1 console.

1 platform means even small studios know the limits of what they can do, so there might be more games written meaning more income.

When Trump was sued for blocking people he claimed they were a platform now magically when it suits him they aren't.
Trump likes to use his lawsuits to try and scare people into giving him what he wants, because he can run the bills up. Perhaps the fake billionaire should have noted the trillion dollar valuation & that all 3 of these companies will not be scared of him & will force him to pay them for defending this meritless case. And yet I am willing to bet that if I were so motivated, I could locate all the ROMs that ever were available (and then some) easily online still.
One logically might assume that this might mean people running 'pirate' sites aren't in it for the money like we keep being told.
Even Nintendo's law strike team can't find enough cash to get $50 a month from him.
Of course these ROMs being out there really didn't hurt sales of games that haven't been available in decades (and the few made available, Nintendo pursues a modified Ferrari production method... Ferrari would make 1 car less than orders each year... Nintendo makes 1 million units less than demand).
When you focus on protecting the IP to the point where you are actively abusing fans desires... perhaps there is the problem.
You are in a business that will fail without consumers wanting your products, rather than meet consumer demand you try to bankrupt them.
Eventually one of these little stunts will finally tip the scales & parents will stop passing down love of Nintendo to their kids & the cycle will be broken. With no one interested in your product anymore, there will be no one trying to get things from ROM sites (that you refuse to make available legally), and your product will be safe... in a warehouse... gathering dust... forgotten & ignored.
