That's more than enough reason for these guys. If a check with "Isis" in the memo field sets off alarms, then someone with that as their actual name will receive 20X the scrutiny.

If the sex tape gawker had posted of hulk hogan had been recorded with his consent, I might have been on your side. As it is, fuck gawker, let them burn.
Especially if the old comments were to refer to the other posters by name. Here onTD for example, you see us talking to "that anonymous coward" or "that one guy" And once that comment has multiple people replying, it becomes beyond confusing to figure out who's talking about who without the identifiable names.
Ok then, I regret asking though in retrospect, seeing as how I've gotten enough replies to fill the pacific ocean with. Or at the very least the Indian Ocean.
Also I mainly stay loyal(to quote yourself past self in the article) because I enjoy hearing about the stupid and laughable legal threats you guys always report on. Always makes me laugh and wonder how the next person with a poor understanding of the legal system will make an even bigger mess of himself.
Talked about this sort of thing recently on Twitter. Here's a longer version
If you're going to try and use a tragedy to further your own personal political views/agenda, please go fuck yourselves. You are truly scum and are a disgrace and embarrassment to the human race if you talk about events like the attacks on Paris and misrepresent or outright lie in face of factual information to push your political narratives.
I'm not just talking about the major media outlets when I say this. And if by some miracle you happen to be reading this Jonathan McIntosh, here's special shoutout to you. Exactly why he earns this shoutout: http://m.imgur.com/TtEXwCo
Tried to use html tags to make post slightly prettier, but tags hate me, so fuck it.
As a general rule, I don't link to videos if I want to prove a point, I usually link an article, TD being a major example. Also I managed to completely miss where you said video. Brain is mothballing this days. If I link a video it's either because of a conversation about that one specifically, or the conversation is about jokes and really funny shit.
In fact, if you think encryption can be safely undermined raise your hand. Now everyone who raised their hand please write down everything a person would need to commit identity theft, SSN, PIN, DOB, on a piece of paper. Now leave that paper in the middle of your house with all the doors and windows unlocked.
I generally only provide a link if I feel they make my point significantly better than I myself could. Also, taking the time to write paragraphs each time someone asks a basic question about copyright, censorship, patent law, ect, is an absolute pain in the ass.
