Politicians do not care unless something is likely to make them lose their positions. Oh wait.... once they are elected in they cannot lose their positions, so we are hosed! Recall? Too hard to do the vast majority of the time.
Actually that is not true. Copyright has been expanded by the courts to areas where it was never meant to apply, like insisting that someone who has their picture taken by X business has to have their permission asked and gotten for any usage by the business of that picture because "They have a copyright to the picture." Copyright has been overly expanded not only on duration and affected workers but on numerous other subjects as well.
Considering that in the wedding case above, the photographers for the press had to have been stalking these people or trespassed on private property to get those photographs, that is not the correct case to mention.
The cases you should mention are the ones of people taking pictures in public places and just happening to get a picture of a famous person when they walk by and then that famous person suing them for the copyright to the picture in question because they are in it when their presence is coincidental to the picture in question.
Or a woman who lays the law down and tells them "I knew of his 'philandering' and I have no problem with it!" and b'slaps them across the fact with non-feminist viewpoint.
We should have legalized the adult prostitution trade a long time ago while keeping forced prostitution and underage prostitution illegal. That would have allowed us to solve the vast majority of problem with the adult prostitution trade.
They need to stop with the multiple HTML5 video ads on websites. Microsoft Edge does well on all websites EXCEPT those that for some moronic reason want to open 3-5 HTML5 video ads PER TAB OF THAT WEBSITE!
Gotten to the point where for Wikia I use Chrome with Adblocker to open any pages I want to view on that website.
Yeah, this is the CSI: Cyber ninny effect showing itself. That show has gone OUT OF ITS WAY to demonize TOR and 'the dark web' without realizing that the dark web is used for many good purposes today.
A land line as a requirement? Give ma a break here. Whatever bank that did that even back at the turn of the new century should have been told that they were morons.
I believe that most likely this was NOT provided to Chase on a government list because Dash is a common English word. It would be stupid in the extreme (not that our government cannot be stupid) to put Dash on the lists of 'words that get you screened'.
No, they will not. I personally had this happen with one of my e-mail addresses and when I informed Discover of this, they thanked me for calling them and reporting the issue.
Personally, I would appeal it again. This goes against the human right to free speech in the real world and the U.K. has needed a SMACKDOWN on this subject from the E.U. for many years now.
She can get the arrest voided from her record (i.e. expunged) but I seriously doubt that she is going to be able to swing any punishment for the officers in question here.
There is this little thing called 'sovereign immunity' that most officers have and the police unions would rebel if this woman tried to sue the officers personally.
Well, unfortunately, that is the only time that you get a bunch of the conservative lizard-brains (no, that is not a knock against them, that is being honest about their mental faculties) to do anything on a subject.
Their security was not 'absolutely shitty'. It was the level of security that MOST companies use, which is part of the issue. These companies forget that they have some very sensitive information such as CC numbers and SS numbers (whatever the latter are called overseas) and therefore they need very restrictive security for some things.
With all due respect, that is not the case. That would be like saying that if a business in Japan took money from an American on vacation there, that they had to adhere to American laws. It's bullshit, in the extreme extreme extreme.

I'll just put this here:
Homosexuals.
Pedosexuals.
Heterosexuals outside of marriage.
Interracials.
What is the common denominator between these? Answer: All were used or are currently used as a boogie man for society.
