What I would like to know if is anyone else is getting the same letter from Lucasfilm. If it's just him, then that's fishy. If everyone is getting them, then it's business as usual.
I only shop at WorstBuy if they are the only ones that have something a customer needs immediately. And, only if CompUSA doesn't have it.I hate their email policy too. (BB)
If it's for me, I wait for NewEgg's order to come in. Bare drive doesn't come with a manual or cable (or box)? Excellent, save me some money. I don't need them.
A silver dollar is worth almost $40 USD. Plus, any 1964 and prior years for the half dollar, quarter, and dime, are 90% silver, which is STILL worth 20 times the face value.
I think mooo knew it had some webmasters doing illegal things. A lot of times when researching where to host a site, I see a lot of terms of service (TOS) that state what can and can't be hosted there.
If they allowed illegal websites, or that promoted illegal activities, it serves them right to have to defend the innocent customers in ICE's blanket shut down.
I would never knowingly and intentionally host a site on a host that allowed such types of customers.
I realize that's throwing out the baby with the bath water, but people have to be diligent, and know where their property is in relation to legalities.
There already is a better solution. It's called express elevators. (for really tall buildings)
There is another solution that I've heard of; an elevator that only travels to floors 3,5,7,9,odd numbers etc. If you want to access an even numbered floor, you would press the odd number floor above it and walk down. (I admit, the sensible thing to do is pick the floor below and walk UP)
[One of the Trump buildings, I believe, has this, but for entirely different reasons]
By exposing some of the information (numbers), the marks (the poor losers) think they have a chance of winning. They are involved in the process.
Having the word LOSER (or similar) covered in latex, ends the experience a lot faster, and thus there is not enough fantasy (read: addiction) involved.
My sister buys 20 lottery tickets a week; she says it's fun (thrilling) to get near-misses because it makes her heart race. Oh sure, she's one $600 - $900 before, but after several months worth of buying tickets at a cost of $1 to $2 each. [Do the math] Break Even.
In conclusion, it's a scam. The lottery is stacked against the player.
There's a right way and a wrong way to do things in life. The video does not show what happend before, how he was asked for ID and thus not producing it.
If he was asked to produce ID and he didn't have it, he has a choice in relating the info or not. "I don't have any ID on my right now, but my name is Fname Lname" is how I might say it.
"I don't have to show you my ID, sir" is antagonistic if you don't have any ID to produce.
