I use a DVR to record shows with commercials - that I can skip through. Until the TV becomes seamless with Inet (god forbid) this seems like the way to go since I have to have a subscription/account anyway./div>
Seems to me, as in cases we've seen, we NEED to be filming public officials in action. I said "public," we hire them with our tax money and it's only fair that we know how our money is being spent. All it requires on the part of law enforcement is a little restraint if violence is unnecessary. I know their adrenaline's up and they're mad as hell, but not every takedown requires physical retribution./div>
If you are tweeting and receiving tweets concerning court cases then you are getting information, MAY be getting information that is inadmissible or contaminate to the proceedings. The judge orders the jury not to discuss the case and they should be willing to accept that. I'm not sure about jail time for this but stiff fines would be appropriate./div>
This is why we so distrust, if not dislike, if not loathe corporate think. Why Romney, Perry, and the Republicans should champion a new cause instead of corporate coddling. Pay not to use?! Like adding gas tax to someone with no car, or requiring "no car" insurance. Like taking 25$ off the cost of a plane ticket and charging 25$ for a piece of luggage. This is insane, absurd and, apparently, inevitable./div>
Fair use applies to all. No permits required. Irritating to see a "Goldline: The only gold company Glenn Beck recommends." ad underneath all of this - as if Glenn Beck wasn't a payed shill. Glenn Beck? Drech. A madman tilting at windmills./div>
Does not remotely sound like - well it "sounds" like "Ice Age" but not exactly. The "D" would indicate that it's not about mammoths and sabre-tooth tigers, and more about spotted cubes. I'm not sure how cold dice can get, though Lady Luck can freeze you out. Still, we've never found any frozen gamblers from the "ice" age. Unless you count the hunters who went after mammoths and tigers with stone tipped sticks!/div>
I would think that a spokesman, or representative of a company would have to be aware of the image the company wants to present in public. A bit of free speech can entangle itself in public perception of the company. This may be a little overbearing, but Hanes is within its rights to terminate a contract it sees as harmful to public recognition./div>

The judge is obviously borrowing from earlier expressions of law. If I have a picture of me walking my dog in front of a wildly colored billboard, am I also guilty of crossing La Chapelle? As Gracey said, "You can't copyright an idea..." Think "parody" or "improvisation."/div>
It was always easier to ask "how do you spell..." instead of looking it up in the dictionary. I remembered if I had to look it up, not so much if I was told. I used to be a good speller until spell check came along, now not so much. In fact spell check often changes a word I don't want it to change and I DON'T notice! Now that's bag./div>
