    Slippery Slope

Who gets to decide what is actually considered violent? If you listen to my grandmother play poppit you would assume she was playing an incrediably violent game. Is it the gore? The Killing? The Fights? In my opinion this is something that should be left up to the individual, the government should not have any part of it.

While I agree in theory, there are already enough folks who don't think, I would prefer if the creative ones just kept on thinking while they are doing!

With more and more people getting their "media" fix from mobile devices and social networking websites, these Webisodes are the logical next step in entertainment/advertising. They are also being used to create "hype and buzz" for new product launches.

These "virtual scammers" are no different than the snake oil sellers of days gone by. There is a reason good old PT Barnum said "there's a sucker born every minute". A least today we have the means and the media to expose these things. Also as to the death of the daily paper, let it die. If I want up to the minute news I'm turning to the blogs. I do not have any desire to return to the "halcyon days of broadcast television". I prefer my news open forum style with the option for instant debate.

Custom Social Networking (as Cheryl H)

Those that say the MySpace has to learn anything are wasting their breath. MySpace has cemented itself and that is the way they plan to stay. As far as ads go unless the business is an already established presence they are avoiding MySpace like the plague. Smart advertisters are going after the smaller niche social networking websites.
