This is the first time I have said anything good about any religion in a very, very long time. These people have my respect. They are more concerned about doing the right thing religiously then about using their religion to get rich quick./div>
I think if I get in an accident, say a drunk driver hits me, then since the town/city/state provide the roads I should sue the town/city/state.
That makes as much sense as suing Google or any other search engine for search results that catalog something that they did not create or even like or agree with. What next, suing God because a wild animal attacks a human and causes injury?
In my opinion we live in a society of wimps and idiots!/div>
I am glad I live in the USA where we have all these choices. In my area alone we have three, yes three ISP's. Cable, phone and Earthlink.... Which Earthlink goes through the cable isp, Time Warner, uses their hardware, TW sends me the bill for Earthlink, Earthlink goes by TW's rules, etc, TW is the one that fixes things when there are problems.....
I made some comments on the Suprbay about TPB and what was going on. I started out defending the TPB and then a mod and myself went back and fourth. I finally got annoyed. It seemed like they where not telling the whole story and one had to just agree with everything they said, without question. So all that one could do was nod yes, and say "I agree."
Well the debate went on for sometime and then they banned me for being a troll. That really pissed me off, to say the least. Up until that point I was a die hard Pirate Bay fan and supporter, though now I have ask myself why.
The next day the ban was gone. Didn't matter. I decided to delete all my torrents there and I haven't been back since.
If they want to be taken seriously then they need to start engaging debate and not shutting people out. Even if they don't like what a person says or if they disagree with it. If a person comes around with false information, then it is simple. Proof them wrong. If you don't and just push them away then people are going to wonder and the questions they try to avoid will stay in the back of peoples heads.
I am not really sure what their game is, but I see it blowing up in their face. Nothing they are doing is making any sense. A lot of talk but no walk./div>
I can't see anything like this working or coming close to working if all ISP's adopt the bandwidth caps and charging their customers and arm and a leg for every GB they go over.
Amazing how greedy corporations and politicians have made such a mess of the internet./div>
When I first read this headline a few days ago, I couldn't stop laughing. We are really raising a generation of idiots.
Granted they screwed up and did not put any cones up. But I still see this girl tripping over the cones and this time falling head first into a hole. So then the parents would be suing because the cones where not properly placed, or some idiotic thing.
How can you be involved in something else so much that you are clueless where you are walking, unless you are drunk, lol. Animals have more sense then that, I am guessing single celled organisms have more sense then that as well.
I would be embarrassed to have a child like that and I wouldn't even bother suing. I would try and get past it fast and quietly so no one knew how dumb my family was./div>
