"Of course, it does not help that you have never worked within the systems of government that depend heavily upon classified information and the pressing need to preserve such information in the strictest of confidence. I well understand where you are coming from, but at the same time it is quite easy to recognize a certain naiveté on matters such as these." Ah, the old "I know better than you " chestnut. More than enough confirmed information has been brought to light to see that the cost/benefit ratio of the NSA and other intelligence agencies' actions are skewed and completely Unconstitutional. They, along with their partner corporations, have and are breaking specific laws as well as the law of the land. Their history of abuses before this as well as fresh abuses prove these agencies are essentially organized crime at the state level. So I guess I am saying they have honestly earned Mike's and anyone's 'deep seated animus' You are like the fictional 'good cop' that does nothing when bad cops do bad and then complain when people justifiably call all cops corrupt thugs./div>
"they will have made material available for a real terrorist event to happen." look up details on the '93 WTC bombing where FBI provided the explosives./div>
Yep that map is Westeros of Game of Thrones fame created by George RR Martin for his A song of Ice and Fire series..Interesting. Not that I have any problems with it, but I wonder what this implies as far as what relationship the band has with George Martin if any and what legalities are involved if any. The map is obvious down to even the city placement and features./div>
best comment from your own links "The Constitution is not out of step with the world its the world that's out of step with the Constitution, the best guarantee of Individual Freedom from tyranny that has ever existed. It is worth defending till your last breath." Adam-" because it is nearly impossible to amend"..the Constitution has been amended many times and is a living document that grows with the times since the protections enumerated within are timeless and necessary for a functional free society. A free society which we have had for a relatively short time, considering the entire history of our human race. One which is currently being attacked from within and without. " thoughts, mores and intents" They had to compromise on slavery as it would have prevented union at a time of war..read the letters of the founders..they were smart cookies and well aware of 2000 plus years of political science and history. Check out the federalist papers (dry reading i know, but informative of the mindsets of these men). The right to bear arms is for us to protect ourselves from a tyrannical government..not so we can sport hunt, etc. " the Executive has simply chosen to begin ignoring the parts it doesn't find relevant to today's problems" which is treason to the oath these servants of the public swear when they start their terms. We have problems here indeed...but we have not had to endure true tyranny yet and I believe that is only due to the fear of reprisal by common freedom-loving Americans who are well trained and armed. The Big Lie works very well on Americans and that is the political criminals weapon of choice it seems today. Please reconsider your position in light of the contradictions you espoused in your post. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Lie/div>
For all your arrogance in claiming knowledge of the Music Industry and disparaging others lack of such, you are showing some amazing ignorance. If I was as rude and snarky as you, I would at least make sure I am correct in my statements. It is a fact that most label contracts are set up with the label owning all the rights. If you want to back your talk with a real education I suggest reading 'Hit Men" by Fredrick Dannen
already happened..look up '93 WTC bombing which actually did kill people...Feds supplied the explosives..Their undercover informant secretly recorded the transactions he had with the Feds. Solid proof, yet nothing was done./div>
"If the existing laws are generally good enough, I would say that they are generally good enough across the board." Does not follow..so a fallacy for you..and detention!/div>
h8 to nitpick there, Lobo..but even Franklin who was 6 ft.. mentioned that they let George precede them because he was the tallest of them..Washington's letters and orders for suits support his being over 6'2"..he was constantly complaining that his 6'2" tailored suits still had legs too short..so..your main point stands..just..accuracy helps. cheers/div>
"Producers make product" Though I agree with your overarching sentiments your statement seems to illustrate a lack of knowledge about what a producer is and does. Music production is as artistic as music performance and with additional technical elements that take training and years to master. Check out Miles Davis' Bitches Brew for an example./div>
"Civil rights are important but there are lines and when you cross them you become an accessory." really? could you illustrate a real world example of this rather than some bat-shit analogies that don't fit the situation at all? "the artists wouldn't hate on them." which artists?/div>
ILM contracts out as well..also its located on Skywalker Ranch in California if I remember my Bantha Tracks issue correctly..website says 'now with locations in San Francisco and Singapore' indicting new locations would be my take on that http://www.ilm.com//div>
no,no..you missed his point...hes not talking about a separate special effects company that contracts out its services..Hes referring to the fact that all movies tend to be incorporated as separate corporations...you know to hide profits and screw others out of their cut..did you not read the Lucasfilm story on Empire?/div>
I expect Heicklin to win. Feds are desperate to shut this guy up all over his jury nullification advocacy. In this case, the authorities overplayed. The prosecutor's statements are obviously ridiculous. In fact, I am willing to bet Heicklin couldn't ask for a better present for Christmas. He never would have gotten so much attention for his cause. Disclaimer: I emphatically support the right of jury nullification./div>
Flav was and still is the greatest hype-man in rap history..yes that is his purpose and to sing '911 is a joke in yo town" ;D. Chuck D is the lyrical genius of the group./div>
