Lol. I've come to the conclusion that people who beg for regulations are pussies with a capital P. You guys are the worst kinds of pussies too. Politicians are known to be sleazy and crooks but you put them in charge of regulations?? Is it too much responsibility for you to solve these problems through contractual arrangements and not through depending on government regulation?
Not only am I ready to drop timewarner services the instant they roll this out (both my business and residential services) but all the companies they subsidies will not be getting my bushiness as well.
Anyone else worried about the where the bailout money is coming from? When the Fed injects more money into the system, then you have an 'inflated' money supply chasing the same number of goods in the market. How is this not going to led to higher prices for everyone? How is this not punishing people who saved their money?

Obama and friends on Capitol Hill didn't even know the country was in a recession for over 12 months until they got a memo in Dec. '08 None of these politicians has any clue how to create permanent U.S. jobs to build a stable economy. Instead they plan to throw $850 Billion at welfare programs and drive up the national debt. This will just extend the economic depression to a full decade or more.
Indeed there may be a short-term perceived job creation effect but in the end it leads people to believe the immediate burst of job creation moves us in a positive direction for the economy, and they can relax and not change their imbalanced spending/saving behavior.
Our great grandparents (if you are an American descendant) died to protect their rights. Your such a pussy to give them up so easily - wanna know why the world sucks so much today? It's because of jerks like you.
I have no hope anymore. Everything that these 'leaders' are doing are killing any chance we have of a speedy recovery in this financial mess. Not everyone in America values broadband, simply making it available to them [cheaper] won't make them demand it either. Talk about short sightedness.
