There were in fact the opposite reaction from leftist pundits saying we should "wait to get all the facts before laying guilt on Muslim extremism" and etc. Now the left is questioning the exact opposite viewpoint. If left-sponsored laws curtailing free speech does get passed some how (I'm sure they won't), it will only turn around and bite them on the ass when they are the minority party again. So short-sited./div>
With a PC if you have display problems you get a new display for prolly less than $100, plug it in, and you're good to go.
The only way I would be slowed down by a failing display that that I can see is if my display (LCD, actually) is part of some other part of the system. Kinda like some Macs./div>
Any product pitch that employs an odd "balancing" demonstration should be scrutinized. I don't know what was going on in other parts of the world where these bracelets were pitched but here in the states a 30 second spot featured a huckster demonstrating some kind of corrective balancing that could be gotten by wearing the wrist bands. I guess there was a crying need for the hundreds of thousands of people across the world who were losing their balance (?)
I have no medical knowledge whatsoever (I'm in IT) but even I could smell this scam coming. Of course you can't discount the people who may have been thinking ahead to join in on the massive class action this thing would surely generate. But then again I don't have THAT much faith in people./div>
"The real problem is as income fails on one side..."
The real problem is these "music licensing agencies" or whatever you want to call them are preying on their own customers by enforcing the rights they possess to an absurd degree. Or do you want to tell us that telling public schools they have to pay to sing sings in class is a viable business model? Really? Isn't it a little bit more like making customers who are leaving horse-drawn carriages in droves for more efficient and simpler mopeds go back to their horses and their carriages because the agencies don't want to re-tool their factories to make mopeds?/div>
Show me a truly bonifide "pirate" web site. I'm betting what you'll show me is a search engine that serves up p2p protocol links (torrent files). Very few (if any) "pirate sites"actually have music org-licensed files on them, the actual material is kept on the hard drives of the peers that are using the protocol. AND if you insist that these search engines are the definite culprits then the biggest culprit of all is Google. Funny how no one goes after Google./div>
Two problems (AND why it doesn't change my conclusion); we are guaranteed the right of association and the right of free speech by the constitution. I don't care if he was dressing like the Taliban or flashing instructions on making an atomic bomb, people (like average_joe here) are way too ready to forget that we have a constitution and don't seem all that bothered that it has been repeatedly ignored the last few years./div>
My point is that the bench/jurisdictions appear to cherry pick their decisions based on what's popular in the media, and what the latest buzz-word is. I can guarantee you that if I borrowed my wife's car without her permission while we were still married I wouldn't get five years, if anything./div>
I didn't say "destroying". If advocating the overthrow of the US Gov. every four years is in fact illegal then every presidential nominee and his/her advocates would be thrown in jail. You need to remove the destructive verbiage from your version of my statement.
