Wish they hadn't found my pocket knife that'd I'd forgotten to remove when I parked. It wasn't the greatest knife, but it was pretty good, and it would open boxes and letters like a champ. Ah well, at least they had a wine key for sale at the gift shop next to my terminal, so if I was really wanting to cause some mayhem, the tools were available to me.
Glad you said it. It's the little things, but it really is a fairly big difference. Reminds me of when reporters call all assault rifles "AK-47's"...sigh...
That's just a lie put forth by the digital hippies to get you to recycle your electronic waste. The landfills of the internet are technically infinite, so we should never have the issue with overpolluted tubes!
I would think the driver has at least as much, if not more, to do with what a safe speed in the car is. How do you set limits for different car/driver pairings? Do you make licenses for different skill levels and then color code license plates or something?

Funny, I was actually checking my OBD reading of my speedo vs. my dash vs. GPS for my car...GPS is ~0.1-0.2 mph off what the car says fairly consistently. Though the dash readout doesn't do tenths of a mile per hour, it does appear to round .5 up.
Came here to say almost the exact same thing. I actually switched from Netflix to Blockbuster because of the in-store exchange. Then they said it doesn't apply to new rentals...fine, no big deal. Then they said it's only a $0.99 rental...okay, I lived a block from one with a healthy $0.99 rental section. The final straw came when they said I could only exchange one movie in store and that it would not cost $5 more than Netflix. Just when they sent me the e-mail about that Netflix let me know I could do instant streaming. Switched back to red 10 minutes later.
Blockbuster had a really good opportunity with the B&M exchange thing. Even if it was just a discount on the rental, it would have been worth it. Movies returned to the B&M registered as returned that day and you'd have your next mail-order movie either the next day or the day after. The turn-around was great, but not worth the extra money that Blockbuster wanted.
Let me stop you right there. If I describe where something that is copyrighted is and you go view this copyrighted material, I fail to see how that's infringement. Sure, hotlinking is rude and if you're using it inline with a page, then it can be highly disingenuious as to the source, but you're still not republishing.
If Coca-Cola reprints your copyrighted material, then they've created a copy, and not according to their rights, so it's infringement. If they simply point back to your site for the image, then it's not. Very simple.
For the time being; however, Hulu is doing far more good than harm by having a model that basically mirrors OTA broadcast. If they decide to narrowband it and make people pay, they'll flock back to the torrent sites in no time.
I watch a lot of my shows on Netflix, and I don't mind paying because I don't have to watch commercials, and I can pause/rewind/fast forward as I see fit.
