My brother in law is a NYC Puerto Rican and his family Christmas meal is a slow cooked pulled pork roast, with rice, salad, empanadas, and baked ziti. most of those I don't think are weird but the baked ziti through me./div>
My understanding is that Netflix doesn't have a Canadian office or employes. They also don't have servers in Canada.
They do have a .ca website that contains the content they have Canadian licences for. However, claiming because they have a .ca website the CRTC has jurisdiction over them is like claiming Tuvalu has jurisdiction over Twitch.tv./div>
Do you even know the meaning of "public domain" or its relationship to works created by US federal employees or officers?
As to paying a fee to receive a copy of the work in the public domain. It is a regular practice to charge a nominal fee to make copies of public records. I don't think anyone would mind paying for high quality images or videos.
Personally I think the company should not both get paid to digitize and make the works available while charging for access to the works./div>
Channels that actually pay for a license to use music are being hit by this. Here is an explination from Docm77 http://youtu.be/dNaLY_2_Uzc
This reminds me of when the Curiosity rover landed on Mars and NASA's videos got flagged because a news network put one of their broadcasts into the Content ID system./div>
If this policy is for retired veterans then it is Bad. If the policy is for personnel on active duty then the policy is not unreasonable. (It's not right. Just legal.) Even the US military has a similar policy. The reason being that being critical of ones chain of command can have a detrimental effect./div>
So, there is a gag order and the company has issued a statement and ceased operations. Am I just paranoid or does this end with the government having the argument that the company violated the gag order? Granted, that would take a special level of cluelessness in regards to keeping a secret, but with the way they have been acting recently it might sound reasonable to them./div>
A 100 page C&D may seem like overkill but remember what happened with Billy the Goat. It has been 68 years since The Curse started, and they don't want to add another./div>
"Every day, about ten people die from unintentional drowning. Of these, two are children aged 14 or younger. Drowning ranks fifth among the leading causes of unintentional injury death in the United States."/div>
Puerto Ricans eat baked Ziti?
I don't even think Netflix is in Canasa.

It's not just freeloaders

As to the library issue, if the publishers can't find a way to allow Libraries to lend ebooks they will lose a valuable marketing resource./div>
Is this for Active Duty or Retired?
