Indian Chess Player Plays With Deep Blue...Tooth
from the shoulda-got-the-implant dept
We've had stories for years about kids using mobile phones to cheat on exams, but a guy in India has taken that to the next level, by using a mobile phone to cheat his way up the chess rankings. Over the last 18 months, he apparently bounded up the charts, as some noted that his odd style included always wearing a cloth cap that covered his ears. Turns out that there was a nice little Bluetooth earpiece stitched into the cloth, and there were accomplices using a computer relaying moves to him via a mobile phone. And, he would have gotten away with it too, if only he'd had the Bluetooth device implanted in his brain...Thank you for reading this Techdirt post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.
Techdirt is one of the few remaining truly independent media outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis.
While other websites have resorted to paywalls, registration requirements, and increasingly annoying/intrusive advertising, we have always kept Techdirt open and available to anyone. But in order to continue doing so, we need your support. We offer a variety of ways for our readers to support us, from direct donations to special subscriptions and cool merchandise — and every little bit helps. Thank you.

As in the dot on most Indian people's head.
You people must score low on the analogy/logic part of IQ tests. I guess everything must be spelled out and spoon fed to kids these days... lol

And speaking of retards, maybe you should do a little research on the dot before feebly attempting some humor.

Simple context clues and no reference mentioning the original article. Even I can see the what Turbine was talking about regarding the raging Neanderthal's reply, but then again I'm over the age of 21.

Chess vs. Racism
As far as the "dot" goes - I'm pretty sure caste marks are reserved for WOMEN in India - and not all of them at that. The reference is pretty lame and shows the ignorance of the poster more than anything else.
