Why, with the NDAA signed into law, the next president could even detain all the people who (stupidly admit they) voted against him and could be the first president since Washington to be asked to accept the crown as the first king of the USA.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
This may be true of most contemporary robotic assembly designs, but modularization of the overall process allows for both reconfiguration and adaptation to new products. For example, an automated soldering bath (watch this for an idea of what one looks like) for a circuit board will work on any and all boards with the same width in one direction and a similar thermal tolerance. If an auto-loader and a properly setup receptacle for transfer to the next process unit are associated with the soldering bath, it can simply be placed on a semi-mobile platform and placed wherever it is needed in the process.
Remember, just prior to its occurrence, speaking of revolution in the 13 American colonies was considered treason, punishable by death. The most abhorrent of speech is still protected specifically to allow the common person to share their beliefs, no matter how distasteful or revolutionary they may be. This includes stick/paper/animated figures with an arrow/label/shirt/dialogue pointing out "muhammad."
I've been spending a better part of my time recently trying to figure out what the difference between tasteful exclusion and censorship is

I have to give it paper and ink and power and detailed instructions, and it 'replicates' a document !!!! amazing.
Now, just remove the paper and ink and you have a digital replicator, amazing! Just like the 2D replicator, except you don't have the onus of providing raw materials beyond the container. All you have to do now is go find something cool to replicate, like some music, and you have an analogue compression wave replicator. It's like magic!
Note that no where in what I said was infringement (theft, in your parlance) involved. Your computer, no matter how much you want it to otherwise, copies any and all things you perceive from its outputs several times in order to translate them to a format that you can readily understand. The "theft" you so abhor, is in many cases innocent and accidental. In fact, the simple act of storing such copies ought to be encouraged as it spreads the culture and knowledge stored in a more substantial manner. That such behavior, even if maliciously intended, is considered a crime should make you shudder, especially as you parrot the words of others without paying for a license.
I think you just might live in a bit of a dream world !!

I know that came off as me simply copying your derisive litany, but if you take some time and reflect, you may just realize that there's a hidden gem of innovation in the message. Also, I like your attempt to co-opt the fantastic star wars humor of Family Guy. Unfortunately, the sith emperor formula does not seem to cover all cases. Perhaps you could have gone with a flattering imitation of the giant robot camels, or even Consuela the maid.
I think you may want to read this. Specifically the part where it says
Data Authenticity. Referring once again to the nonrepudiable nature of IP source addresses, it is computationally trivial to pollute a caching name server with data that was never seen or published or approved by the editor of the administrative authority zone that it purports to have come from. This requires asymmetric cryptography wherein a zone administrator generates a key pair, publishes the public key in the zone apex, publishes a hash of the public key in the parent (delegating) zone, and uses the private key to generate per-RR-set digital signatures. Resolvers who choose to validate these signatures will have to fetch the entire key-signature chain back to some previously known trust anchor, which is usually the root zone’s public key. DNSSEC (DNS Security Extensions) has been in production for 12 long years, without any production use to date, and we in the Internet standards community look forward to solving and re-solving this problem for many years to come. (But, I’m not bitter about it.) Meanwhile, the only reason that DNS isn’t attacked more often is that nobody trusts its authenticity. (A catch-22, perhaps?)
If you'll take careful notice, DNSSEC resolves the security issue, in part, by further distributing the zone of trust from the root server via asymmetric (and thus bi-directional) cryptographic checks. This means that a SOA, which only points out where the authoritative DNS servers are by name, can not be easily messed with in transit. Upcoming legislation, like SOPA and PIPA, would require that a domain name be modified in a manner inconsistent with the standard top down dissemination of record modifications. In other words, the ISPs would become the man-in-the-middle attacker. Alternatively SOPA/PIPA would require either the root DNS to maintain the authoritative record for all DNS domains, which massively centralizes the DNS system and reverses many years of work in the other direction, or that authoritative record changes be allowed to travel backward, which defeats the purpose of DNSSEC by allowing the many more downstream DNS servers to have an authoritative say in the DNS record. The second scenario is the worst as the authoritative DNS record for a lower level domain name could then be used to poison the cache of higher level servers through "secured" communication. This would also be possible under ISP moderated censoring of designated domain names. Cache poisoning and man-in-the-middle attacks are already the bane of the current DNS system when it comes to centralized authoritative records which are by some means or another subject to attack. Securing these channels and ensuring that the DNS system continues to move toward a more distributed hierarchical system removes many of these problems, but can not coexist with poorly conceived legislation like SOPA and PIPA, which demand the very vulnerabilities being corrected be reintroduced.
I believe you may have this backwards. It is the MAFIAA who purchase a time share in the talking point loop that falls out of most politicians mouths... for the children.
Sure, anonymous and others could delve a little deeper into the dirt and maybe even make a pretty graphic for the lulz, but most of the data you seek is public and, better yet, others have done most of the aggregating for you.
I've got "something" that "works," but its a ways from being done. Its pretty much an all or nothing blackout at the moment. And I've already had a couple scares where it accidentally worked on the editor page and blacked out everything.
(I spent some time on a "Hello World!" plugin to get started)
... well, I've gotten this far, I might as well continue. The aim of putting it up on the WP plugin registry is to get access to a wider audience with a lower effort requirement.
