"Max Power, he's the man whose name you'd love to touch...
But, you mustn't touch! His name sounds good in your ear
But when you say it, you mustn't fear
Because his name can be said by anyone!"
There are several editing stages and the editor's cut is the first. An editor's cut (sometimes referred to as the "Assembly edit" or "Rough cut") is normally the first pass of what the final film will be when it reaches picture lock."
"Director's cut
When shooting is finished, the director can then turn his full attention to collaborating with the editor and further refining the cut of the film. This is the time that is set aside where the film editor's first cut is molded to fit the director's vision."
There are many ways to refer to these processes. "Editing" can refer to the editor's cut, or "assembly edit", cut can also refer to the 2nd step "director's cut".
Then there is the "final cut". Editing and cutting is definitely not the same thing: editing is the entire process of "cuts", while the first "cut" is also sometimes called an "edit".
Oh hey, here's a person who has taken shrapnel, dodged bullets and lost limbs in violent combat, I'm sure he won't mind about a few gratuitous slaps to the face every other day.
I remember the internet in the 90's. I first used it on '94 at the University (home internet was unheard of).
I never understood that Gopher thing. I know it was like... link browsing? But each click just seemed to randomly take you elsewhere and another set of links.
Maybe in the USA it was more popular, I don't know. I'm a tech person, nowadays I use internet more than anything else and understand most of the protocols and concepts. Still, Gopher don't make no sense to me.
Open tab: ctrl+click, middle-click, or drag the link to the tab bar.
Save image: file->save page as (or just ctrl+s)->web page, complete.
This is way too easy, and useless. Pisses 90% of the people off tho. I think some of these web "designers" also want to prevent you from right-clicking and "copying" text or whatever...
Now that's a strawman. Nobody said the judge should be a hacker that illegally modifies techy things. He should know how these techy things work. He can't think the internet is a series of tubes.
Now, imagine a judge ordered a murderer to "unmurder" the victim right now. What would you think?
