if you'd have bothered to play along, it means that those companies can either A) play ball by the rules and get that sweet sweet govt contracts. or they can explore option B) that's where they get to do what they want and subsequently lose those sweet sweet govt contracts.
Re: Re: Re: If all courts and society held to "actual knowledge" standard way you want, it'd be impossible to convict unless every person in a jury witnessed first-hand.
there will be lawsuits about this. You would sue cox for monetary losses and to find out who told cox to kick you off the internet. Then you would turn around and sue Rightscorp/RIAA/MPAA for false accusations. And to top it all off, it wastes EVERYONE'S time.
so what I've dug up on this particular case, is that New Miami was running speed cameras that were not properly calibrated. IE. If you were going 11 miles over the speed limit, it would clock you at going 46 miles over the speed limit, and bill you as such.
I would like to see those same hackers break into the vehicles to deliver their weed. There are also more nefarious things one can deliver this way, but weed is the most harmless.
It's not even about citizens with cameras, how about treating EVERYONE with a basic level of respect, regardless of if they are citizens, with or without cameras, suspects or outright fugitives? How hard is it to fuck up such a simple thing as being a human being with an ounce empathy?
i think the bigger story is this seems to be a form of class warfare, now I am not sure how the Dutch culture tackles this, but the whole "you don't look like you should be wearing that." seems a little... classist to me
you know...for a bunch of people that provide internet service, they sure don't know how it works. The internet, by nature, reroutes data around an outage or blockage. As such, an artificial blockage, such as lack of competition, is being rerouted through private/public partnerships, Utility companies entering the market, or even lawsuits.

i don't think that is a problem with youtube itself, more of a "let's give everyone on earth cameras and see what happens" kind of problem. Stupid people doing stupid things is not going to change soon, your post is proof of that.

I would like to think that these Congressmen/women just gave Trump a mile of rope, so that he can make his own noose to hang himself with. That being said, It is still an incredibly stupid move.
because some states, republican states, have sold their souls to AT&T, Comcast, or Verizon. The people concerned, or complaining about this issue, usually are NOT legislators or governors, they are ordinary citizens.
