I know, I'm just pointing out that if they worked 50 years ago and are still getting paid, they did something else, and I used Woz and Gates as examples, since they were programmers from before I was born.

Was Bill Gates a programmer in the 60s? How about Steve Wozniack? ...Those are the only two I can think of off the top of my head that might have been programmers then and still get paid today.
