Somehow all the social media bar fighting is allowing the podcast indexer like iTunes and the rest to quietly burn content at will. Change rules, kick out creators and claim "webcast" is their domain.
No big deal. RSS is podcasting, itunes is webcasting. Only one serves the content creator, podcasting.
Enter Adam Curry - index for free speech as in your 'cast is your business and I am here to help you make it work and money is the creators not the tool helping your "show" get heard.
I am not good at all the platforms vs protocol thing but I think this is an example.
Nobody has held Public Education to a standard of teaching how to learn. Instead the system was bounced from political experiments to finally land in what you see now. We invited the folks in way back in 1930's because they were on a list of worst troublemakers ever, hang them was pre WWII axis solution.
Now look at the state of all education, nothing but socialist dogma.
Rant over but Campaign Finance Reform is a dead horse.
Both perform for their people. Republicans were for limited gov'ment intrusion. Democrats have to have a federal solution to anything. That is why Biden is grandstanding on it's Trumps fault

I have been seeing what I think is reckless cat breeding for "wild look".
he Cheetoh's parent breeds are the Ocicat and the Bengal, which is actually a direct descendant of the wild Asian Leopard Cat... from one breeding site.
The Bengal Cat is the result of a long research program to save ALC DNA. This abuse of 10 years of research is just stupid.
My 1st Bengal was half wild, handful. Current Bengals are tame. A proper Bengal costs $2000. This knockoff is a third of that price.
Restaurants are expected to be 100% clean. No problem, clean machine with bleach based cleaner and rinse. But some people may be sensitive to Sodium Hydroxide taste no matter how much water or neutralizer is used to make sure machine is ok to use.
I poured a sweet tea at my favorite BBQ shop - UGH, bleach! Manager tasted it, tastes fine.
I suggested he use different cleaner on machine with that much plastic. Poured Dr Pepper from soda machine.
As a kid I worked in tourist trap hell in Williamsburg VA, unbelievable what people accuse staff of. Cops were in the mood to bust somebody that day.
"Like the Reclaim Invention Act, H.B. 1357 would require Maryland state universities to adopt policies for technology transfer that commit them to managing their patent portfolio in the public interest, and outlines what that policy should include. The bill would also void any agreement by the university to license or transfer a patent to a patent assertion entity (or patent troll)."
Ok, I get it, software patents are low value. Actually they should not exist I have read but get patented anyway. U of Maryland, John Hopkins are not there so maybe they don't want splashed with anything bad if this scheme goes sideways.
In Maryland speed cams are about the size and shape of electric or phone utility boxes. Must be costly because the cams are shuffled around in my county.
Some counties use red light cams. They are so twitchy a bit of a roll when stopped triggers some.

What is wrong with people. Campaigns are fueled by money. The person uses money to get elected. That is the system.
Those bills are garbage, I read them. If you shoot the messenger then you are not listening.

Each party has the same goal - relected
Biden has taken a page out of trumps playbook; facebook is killing people. Same as Trump calling media the enemy.
This crazy bar fight wrapped in flimsy culture war played on TV by all politicians is stupid.
This podcast is the best description of fund-my-relection at the expense of the public I have heard.
July 2021 will be a footnote in some book describing how extreme activism took over and China annexed North America.
