I think the college should pay his tuition, and all other expenses, to the college of his choice until he gets at least a master's degree... What knuckleheads!
Can we arrest all of our so-called government representatives and officials now? They steal our hard-earned $$ by giving themselves unearned salary raises, take taxpayer-funded cruises, etc, etc...
AT&T had been trying to get me to subscribe to Uverse for my business internet connect for a couple of years now. They keep saying "fiber to the premises", but that's a lie. It is fiber to the neighborhood, unless you have a totally new building... I'd subscribe to Comcrap, but they are even worse than AT&T! We had a local attempt to provide city-provided fiber some years ago (blocked by big $$ and false propaganda by the such as AT&T and Comcrap). I recently spoke with my neighbor who voted against the initiative - he is sorry now that he did!
Anybody who pays this dickhead for "cybersecurity" services get what they deserve - absolutely nothing! Unfortunately, their stockholders and employees will be the ones who ultimately pay for this crud... :-(
If Scotland secedes from GB, will the Metropolitan Police have to drop the name "Scotland Yard"? What idiot inspectors will Sherlock be able to work with then?
Snowden is guilty of the worst offense of all in the eyes of our "intelligence" services - he has made them look like the fools they are to everyone, everywhere...
Gah! My granddaughter is epileptic, and though seizures are not as common now that she is in her mid-20's, they still can happen. Kudos to Snowden for saving the life of someone he is not beholden to! Screw Rogers and the rest of his ilk!
Or whatever TLA government body can reign in these pirates (I mean the ISP types) and force them to provide us with the services/benefits we are paying them for, then I say "go for it dude!". Good article Mike. I think you hit the nail on the head.
I don't care who I want bandwidth from, but I pay AT&T (or whomever) for X MBps, and I expect to get that, no matter from whom it is coming. If they cannot deliver, then they are in violation of our (presumed) contract. Unfortunately, the verbiage is usually on the order of "up to X MBps", if if it's less, I have no basis for complaint... What a crock!
Crass, vulgar, offensive, and REALLY, REALLY HILARIOUS! The best response to this sh!t would have been to simply ignore it! Anyway, kudos to the perps of this prank! Way worse than any I have perpetrated, but I think might have conspired with them to do this my younger years... :-)
Instead of folding into Comcast's extortionate demands, Netflix should have told their Comcast customers that they could no longer get Netflix until Comcast restored a level playing field. Guess how long Comcast would have kept throttling Netflix content under a deluge of millions of customers threatening to drop their service?
Unfortunately, most of those customers have few (if any) options other than Comcrap for internet access in their area... :-(
