Could you back that up with text from the bill? Otherwise, your just another AC who won't mind lying about things like, "This only applies to foreign websites," when the actual text of the bill states differently. So I will drop you with one of your famous [citation needed] demands.

Re: Years after the rookit debacle...
I was at the store looking for a DSLR camera bag for my wife for Christmas. The Sony one looked perfect but there was no way I was going to buy a Sony product.

UMG to Will.I.Am: "We own you bitch! Don't speak up! Keep your head down!"

Would breach of contract be a copyright issue? Please explain. Can the contract with the label state that they get all copyright on all content he creates or appears in? If W is supposed to clear everything through UMG then he breached his contract...not Megaupload.

I paid for my content...too bad I can't watch it without making sure I have an internet connection, can't watch it on any device I choose, can't watch without reminding me in ten languages that I can be criminally charged, massively fined and jailed at the start of the show and at the end, that I must pay again when the format changes...
Technology allows for customers to get what they want...for some reason industry doesn't think we deserve what is possible.

Re: Well, the AP says otherwise. Who knows?
Hmmm? Most people are out shopping. And let's check out the line-up of blockbusters that the cinema is running. Note that the listing shows them in order of most recent release. Don't think any of those are your $100M flick. The latest Twilight film is probably the big money maker and that has been out over a month now and made plenty even though I hear it was the worst of the series...and that is coming from fans.

Re: Re:
What is some of that crazy? I hear a lot of accusations that there is "crazy batshit" but never what the crazy is. Like dismissing the candidate without substantial debate. Gingrich preaches limited government and lower taxes but turns around and lobbies the government to bail-out industries with taxpayer money. Now that sounds "batshit crazy" to me.

I think you just proved why the government shouldn't be involved from the get go. Plus, your end result is the same whether they wait around 4 years or just throw money and laws at a problem right off the bat. =]

Whoosh! Content can be delivered at a near infinite rate with current technology and we are literally in a desert full of content. So how can you get me to demand your content? Realize that if the price you offer is not a value for me then I will get similar content from somebody else.

I am so mad that Beiber will never come to my small town. I guess I will have to go and spend my concert money to watch some local band play...they are good enough.
By the way, +10 troll points for spinning this into a 1%er issue. And thanks for pointing out what most people call the economics of a free market.
