Movies and music are such an irrelevant amount of America's GNP that we would all be fine if they just dried up and blew away. In fact I believe that eventuality might actually help raise our GNP by taking away a significant Area of loss to the economy; frivolous lawsuits and other such chicanery.
so, if most people are suffering from mass delusion, ie. god exists or infringement is theft, then everyone else should just fall inline like good lemmings and head on off the cliff? I think I finally get it, SOPA/PIPA is a matter of blind faith. I feel so much better knowing I will get into heaven by believing my betters when they tell me how things are and I swallow it whole without understanding the nuances.
Someone should capture the video and upload it to youtube with rating and comments enabled. This would be interesting for two reasons; to see how the comments fall before it's taken down, and, that's the second thing, how long before it's taken down.
Is it true congress just passed a bill making it okay for the military to detain, torture, and assassinate an individual within the borders of the U.S. of A. upon the gummit's say so?

I choose not to murder because I find it morally reprehensible. If I choose not to respect copyright it is because I find it morally reprehensible.
Just because there is a law for whatever does not make it right, especially when it has been permutated into exactly what is was meant to circumvent in the first place.
Art is for art's sake. The drive to create is not, and should not, be driven by the desire to get rich. It is something one is driven to do. Why do you think the proverbial sophomore effort is usually crap if the first product was a game changer?
The above comment about most artists struggling is what it's all about, what it's always been about. Copyright, while useful, has devolved into a money making scheme for those running media companies. Artists' well being are the farthest thing from a record or film company's or minds.
