Don't know about any new laws here in CT that made it illegal to videotape an officer working. There was, however, legislation recently introduced which would make it illegal for police to stop you from recording them.
I couldn't find anything saying that it was passed.
Laws are not the same in every country.
Things which are legal to host online in one country may not be legal to access in another country.
The internet cannot be censored.
It's interesting to see how different countries approach this problem.
In addition to suing the pants off of everyone who utters the name of one of their artists, songs, movies, tv shows, etc., they could maybe make some kind of half hearted effort to make their content accessible in the same formats that are being pirated? Maybe? No?
Rolling over may not be a good choice, but if you're not going to evolve, then what choice is there?
I'd like to see you offer something substantive and intelligible to support your claim that tor and, by extension, anonymous webbrowsing should be illegal.

Do you honestly think he implied that we should allow McDonalds into schools to teach about healthy eating?
I believe your last quote illustrates the entire point of his post. Advocates on both sides are too biased to speak intelligently and honestly about the subject at hand.

I think he won some of those awards because there were no other websites to compete with him.
And all of the TM's and SM's all over the place made me throw up a bit in my mouth.

No, he was advocating a balanced event with both sides of the situation present.
