WOW.. talk about a company that really does not understand what consumers really want. I wonder if they are that arrogant and think people wont leave.
The first cellular company that actually listens to everyday normal people and makes changes geared to what we really want, will become the number one cell phone company. Too bad they only listen to other cell phone companies and not the consumers.
Why are they not being charged for theft? Theft of services, or larceny, or grand larceny? Or for creating a scam that bilked thousands out of hard earned money?
The corporations want the same rights as a private citizen, right? so, if i stole 90 million i would never see the light of day again.
Those that are on automatic pay, Verizon illegally stole money from those peoples accounts. That is a felony.
How long will it be until they take all the jobs and move overseas anyways, leaving the US as a third world. This is not all Corporations, this is only the ones that know they are outside the law. When we weakened the regulations, we gave them the opportunity to do anything and get away with it. In the last 12 years, how many CEO's of any corporation you know is working against the policies of the US have gone to jail? NONE!! But if i steal a candy bar from a store, i serve time. They have stolen alot more then steal one candy bar. They have stolen the homes, cars, education and even lives of the citizens of the United States. They dont even have a guilty conscience about it. When you make 2 billion in profit in one quarter, you are doing it on the lives of others.
The framers clearly did not think that that the Supreme Court justices would stoop to the low that they have. The framers never thought that the justices could or would be bought and paid for by the corporations. Back in the framers days, there was an honesty to politics and the judicial system.
Those times have come and gone. The justice system is just as corrupt and the legal and political environments. Eventually they have to be brought down.
If they are allowed to serve for the rest of their lifetime, make laws that prohibit them from residing in anything that they or their families have a vested interest in. Right now they can say that they can judge impartially and get away with it. It is very clear that some of the judges are not impartial at all. They are VERY biased.
The supreme court has been bought and paid for by the major corporations. Just look at the recent rulings. This will be another one.
It is time to look into term limits for the supreme court and get a closer look at the judges and their families finances.
They are simply transfers of electronic files containing digital copies from an on-line server to a local hard drive. What will that statement mean if someone decides to use it as an example of why p2p networks are not breaking the law? "i did not pirate that movie, i just transferred some bits of information from a server to my hard drive".
How about this one. Many states have a law stating that it requires both parties permission before someone can be recorded. The data from the tracking system is recorded.
These laws pertain to recording someone on the phone, but they are really not specific enough.
What happens when i cross state lines? Will it become a federal issue.
I want them to win the lawsuit just because it will be a bite in the ass to the big corporations that are used to bullying anyone that they see as a threat to their bottom line.
With many people doing things like this, the argument could be made that the pirate bay is, in fact, a legal, easy way to show ones works, and not just for 'pirating' illegal movies and songs.
I use the pirate bay to easily send work pics to my co-workers because email will not attach 500megs of pics at a time.
