Re: Ultimately doubt in the justice system changes convicts to political prisoners.
The sad part is they will never be freed under the currently corrupt governmental systems in place. The people trying to shine a light on this pit of corruption are more likely to be targeted and made examples of than any real reform going through.
Would take a violent upheaval of things to get the innocent freed.
Why innovate when you can buy out your competition then profit off of their ideas instead while suing anyone that dares try to profit off of something you never created to begin with.
for profit prisons means you have a need to send innocent people to jail. While no one is ever truly innocent of anything they are most likely innocent of what they are being tried for.
Of course if it was possible to see how much the DA and judges were getting in "donations and gifts" from those that own said for profit prisons yearly. be easier to find the corruption.
don't forget the added benefit of having your home attacked in the middle of the night by jack booted thugs who kick down your door, wave loaded guns in you're children's faces and scream at you.
less we forget when a high ranking government official leaks sensitive info he gets his actions ignored, as opposed to when the average citizen leaks sensitive info they get prison time in the decades.
Not a chance I would trust such treasonous scum with access to what they are demanding here. They sell it off for profit and they know they will not be punished for those actions. there is no benefit to trusting anyone in the government with this until they clean up the corruption in their systems.
why do i get the feeling comcast will go back on their word and start charging customers locked into that 3 year plan high fees regardless of whatever price they were locked in at.
I don't know why, maybe it's because they act like a criminal cartel more than a business
worse than having the head of the DoJ get away with openly committing perjury. Or the DoJ ignoring the laws and rights of citizens and doing what they want without any oversight?
Obama has already set the precedent "we can ignore the rules if we are in charge" Why would anyone expect the next president to obey rules on drones obama set up?

Personally I still suspect Michael Hastings car was blown up by a drone strike.
Of course that would mean the worst case scenario. Americans being killed without any oversight, simply because they spoke out against those in charge.
Why not instead stop the funding and training of ISIS from the US government? That might put a damper on their ability to do terrorist acts.
It is curious that Obama recently had to amend a law preventing the government from assisting terrorists legally, to allowing it without being charged with treason. If they were not already breaking said law there would have been no need to retroactively make it legal.
Never mind the facts the French intelligence were already tracking most of these guys before they committed their attacks but failed to do anything about it. Beggars the question of if they let these attacks happen to justify laws like this that would do nothing to stop terrorism but everything to suppress dissent and views that oppose those in charge.

Her rights are not more important than anyone else's. The moment she denied people her rights was the moment she lost any sympathy.

I somehow doubt most countries will believe their hypocrisy if they ever made such a threat.
