Affordable college
Once each year High schools unleash a torrent of hormone laden teenagers into a world they're ill equipped to handle. Many go on to college where they enroll into a four year nonstop Party with a $40,000 per year cover charge. The majority of them will arrive at class stoned or drunk or hung over and sleep thru most of their classes or just not show up. Instead of focusing on learning they focus on developing friendships and contacts and sports heroes. A few will not join the party and will pay attention and actually learn something.
How many college graduates do you know that are incompetent in their jobs or just plain unqualified.Lots I bet.(Hint:The entertainment industry)
For those that cannot afford the cost of an "eduflated" 4 yr degree, a free online degree is the way to go.
If a person is motivated and disciplined enough to study on their own and earn a degree from Stanford or Harvard, that's the person I want to hire.

Nationalized Laudromats
"That same argument could be used to "nationalize" any company. You know, the laundromat on the corner isn't providing enough social good, so we should nationalize it."
What a Great thought.
If the Government took over launromat operations there would be be one Giant Washer and no dryer.
It would be able to hold all of the laundry of the Neighborhood it serves and would cost 2000.00 per load and only be avail once a week due to ongoing contract negotiations with the International Laundry operators Federal fraternity (ILAFF).
All the people that want to use it that week would all have to show up at the same time.
Since they're there to wash their clothes, they would all have to strip naked for their TSA probe.
Once you get through security everyone would be naked and an orgy would ensue while their waiting for their clothes.

Sounds like it's gonna be a somewhat boring movie anyway so I probably won't watch it.
Unless the the main character is some sort of action hero type with a super hot and sexy sidekick who is always smarter the he is and they drive a super cool car that also morphs in to a helicopter and a fighter jet and a speed boat and a motorcycle and a soap box derby racer and a jet ski and a...maybe if they hire some really good writers this thing could have a chance.
So to keep up they're negotiating skills while they're not actually negotiating, some negotiators are negotiating for hookers and blow for the negotiators that are not actually negotiating.
Is He afraid that some hacker somewhere will gain access to our critical infrastructure and cause it to malfunction?
