Can vouch for that. My city has been building out fiber all over town for about two years now, but very few homes are actually connected to it, and the waiting list is a mile long (It doesn't help that the people in charge of it won't even build out a neighborhood until it has at least a 50% commitment from residents)./div>
I really with they'd come up with something better than suction cups. Literally, the only surface I could stick it to in the last two cars I've owned would be the windshield. The other surfaces are all textured, and those things will not stick. I've tried, believe me. My poor TomTom has to ride in the cup holder./div>
I'm very disappointed to see this coming from Senator Kirk. On the whole, he's been more palatable than our other Illinois senator (Durbin), but his support for this actually surprises me./div>
Well for one, his main competitor (Illini Tours, formerly Lincolnland Express) has their own problems. They're also higher in price and run fewer buses.
For another, this is a company that caters almost exclusively to college students. There are thousands of new ones every year, most of whom have never heard of any of these lawsuits./div>
I wondered about that as well... apparently, it refers to the location of the *court* the case originated in. Not the location of the plaintiffs or where the event that sparked the case occurred./div>
I can watch AMC's The Walking Dead, legally, the day after a new episode airs, on Vudu, for the cost of a $30 season pass. Compared to paying $150 a month for cable, that's a huge bargain.
HBOGo is launching a stand-alone streaming service. It was just recently announced.
Even if I were to buy a season pass for every show I can't watch over the air via antenna, it's still a massive savings compared to paying for cable. Content creators are seeing the writing on the wall, and reacting accordingly. They're starting to provide legal alternatives to cable, and the trend will only continue as bigger names jump on board./div>
My $50 TomTom does this (it will even alert you audibly, if you set it to)... so I always kind of assumed that feature was pretty standard. Guess not./div>
Aw, cut them some slack. I misplaced my Humvee just last week in the mall parking lot. They're terribly easy to lose track of (especially if they're camouflaged)./div>
Just pointing out... Obama doesn't control the national guard. The national guard is under the jurisdiction of the states. It's the governor's call as to whether they get sent in or not./div>
"The Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board (PCLOB) is an independent agency within the executive branch of the United States government, established by Congress in 2004 to advise the President and other senior executive branch officials to ensure that concerns with respect to privacy and civil liberties are appropriately considered in the development and implementation of all laws, regulations, and executive branch policies related to terrorism."
I ditched cable almost 2 years ago, so I haven't had access to the Weather Channel (in its TV incarnation) in all that time. Miraculously, the weather hasn't killed me yet.
As a Champaign resident, this doesn't exactly shock me. This is a college town, and most of the people working at places like Drew's (which is a locally-owned business, not a chain, and is right smack dab in the middle of campustown, so it caters largely to the campus community) are college students. College students occasionally do stupid things. From what I've read in the local paper, this is something the night shift came up with... not the owners.
But that aside, there are far better pizza joints around here. Papa Del's is 100 times better than Drew's./div>
This is why my phone is set up to immediately auto-upload all photos and video to my Dropbox account... just in case I happen to record some "evidence" one day./div>
Why do I get the distinct impression that had Mr. Google Lawyer simply replied that the ads were placed in people's emails by magic Google Fairies, this would have gone much differently?/div>

Re: Sounds like this guy needs more competition
Interesting tidbit... Suburban Express has a lovely smear campaign page dedicated to them: http://www.suburbanexpress.com/lexsafety/
