I'm the idiot? Where in my comment did I say RPS didn't break the story? Maybe you should go take a grade school reading comprehension course before hurling insults.
The entire points of the article is them saying that no one else was willing to report on it which is completely inaccurate, every site around picked up the story as well and many have continued to report on it over and over again./div>
As a guy who read about a dozen gaming sites (RPS is not one of them) on a daily basis I have a huge problem with a couple of supposed facts about this story. It seems like RPS is just trying to say "hey look at us we're so awesome and everyone else sucks" just to promote themselves.
"When RPS first broke the story [that servers weren't handling most of the calculations], only a few other gaming sites picked up on it."
Pretty much every gaming site picked it up and reported on it over and over again. They all also had stories specifically linking to the video that proved Sim City could easily be run offline as well. I also don't agree at all that the story has been pushed into the background. At least once a week I see another story about the Sim City debacle especially after the new update which apparently just made things worse./div>
"If you're so protective of freedom and Miranda, which doesn't even appear in the Constitution, then where can I find your spirited defense of 2nd Amendment rights, post-Sandy Hook?"
There is nothing to defend. No one with any kind of power anywhere in the country ever even once suggested limiting 2nd amendment rights. Regardless of what your leaders and the NRA tell you and you just blindly follow the constitution does guarantee you to own any and all weapons ever made. It was written when the world had nothing but muskets, so until guns have been limited to one shot muskets no one is even coming close to infringing on your rights./div>
Nothing new. Counterstrike and Day of Defeat have been doing it for over a decade. If you're banned you can still play but only in non secure servers./div>
I'm just gonna assume this article meant they had semi automatic rifles. It seems to stress the semi automatic weapons part when every single cop in the country has a semi automatic weapon on him every single second that they're on duty./div>
15k is right about in the middle of the range of billboard advertising rates for a 4 week ad. Actually seems a little low to me if it's gonna be in a city as big as Austin./div>
Guy Fawkes was the terrorist of the day but so were the founding fathers over here in America. They are now celebrated as symbols of standing up to repressive regimes much as Guy Fawkes is celebrated today./div>
People in sparsely populated states have far to much a voice using the ridiculous electoral college. One person one vote, plain and simple, there is no need for the electoral college at all./div>
Has nothing to do with this article, just happened to be here when I was watching NBC nightly news. Opening of their story just called SOPA the stop online PRIVACY act. Haha./div>
