Why don't we build a series of walls at an intersection that lift up or down depending on the light status? I am sure people will brake for a yellow then since the the consequence if your too late would be quite an accident. It would be great to see some Indiana Jones moments...reaching back and grabbing your muffler before the wall slams down.
there's no evidence that anti-bullying laws actually do anything at all to prevent or stop bullying
There's a shocker! What proponents of such legislation are looking for, and will use to defend their proposals, is preventing "Columbine's" or another Myspace 'fraud' suicide. Some kids are small, some are nerds, some are poor, some are gay, some are retarded. They will be bullied. These laws are nothing but words written on paper that no kid or most adults would ever read. In my state they past a similar law. It basically said who was protected but left it up to school administrators on how/when to implement it. Purely a 'for the children' vote grab.
Sheesh! Because anybody on the internet needs to have a full grasp of internet protocol and error comprehension to read an interview. Go hug your router!

Well first, an actual theft happened, whereas no counterfeit vendor is stealing LV bags and 'diluting' them. But you are forgetting that you are able to sue an unrelated party here. I don't know who that would be.
Now if the other counterfeit refinery was making a similar gasoline compound and selling it as Shell Oil then you could hold the DOT liable since their roads were used to transport the oil from the refinery to the gas station. That makes perfect sense to me! (Sarcasm noted)

Well, then how can a publisher own facts? The lyrics were sung and set in stone. Sure, the publisher may have printed the liner notes (which I have noticed to be incorrect before) but the lyrics are a fact. It is like MLB and stats.

Re: AC FAIL
Not really, it actually looks like a major FAIL, where the track was suppose to be released on a given day and someone accidentally put it online. Outside of perhaps selling it on Itunes, I don't think Radiohead had any intentions of selling the song anyway, so no big deal.

Subsidize
I wouldn't say so much for book sales but in the instance of music sales I am sure the high prices charged for track downloads most likely is subsidizing the staggering losses in the cd sales arena. Of course, any true business person would say, "This part of our business is losing money while this other part is making money. Let's shut down the drain and ramp up the profit center." The only issue is that they make less money the download way since you are only paying for the tracks you want ($3) and not buying an album ($18) with one to three good songs and the rest crap just to get those good songs. Man! It sucks when consumers have a choice to not buy what they don't want!
