I hate to be the one to point this out, but in today's world, a start up band simply can not afford not to connect with their fans. It doesn't require tons of money to do, but done right it can generate those tons (ok, so maybe it's more along the lines of pounds than tons) of money for the band.
The only problem with your plan is the original photographer, whether it is Adams or someone else, still holds the original copyright on the images. So he would still be opening himself up for a copyright suit by selling prints of the negatives, regardless of who the photographer was.
DH, I think he meant the original Doom, not Doom 95. The original Doom ran on DOS not Windows 95. Doom 95 was a port that allowed Doom to played under Windows 95.
All had self-inflicted cost issues which they've addressed if not solved under government pressure finding the UAW and CAW much easier to deal with than they imagined on these issues. (Hint to employers. Open the books, don't plead poverty -- show it and the unions will react much more pleasantly than you think.)
Better idea, get rid of the unions. There was a time when they were needed, and, like the dinosaurs, their time has passed.
I don't think intent is necessary, they're just choosing not to prosecute on that basis. In most cases, ignorance of a law is not a defense to prosecution, yet if you are ignorant of the law, there can be no intent to violate it, but you can be prosecuted if the DA chooses to do so..
Here's a link to a picture of the car. While it does sport the very similar logo, the paint job is NOT the black and white paint job of the geek squad vehicles and several law enforcement agencies. Instead, its just a black beetle.
I have to admit to being one of them. I much prefer to read an actual book, be it hard cover or paper back, than to try and read a story off of a screen.
Can't speak for anyone else, but I routinely clean my screen, and its not even a touch screen. I would think you would be more prone to cleaning it if you are routinely touching the screen to perform tasks, but since I don't have a touchscreen, what would I know, right?
Bite me. I'm about as anti IP as someone can get, and I'm from Texas. Do not assume you know anything about someone just because you know where they're from.
