Well I have noticed that most news around here has more news around the country than local. I want local. I have CNN for the US and BBC, AP, Reuters for the world.
I think I would see more movies in theater. I like to see them on DVD, but by the time I get to see it on DVD, I go, man I wish I saw that in theater. Like right now I reallly REALLY want to see Children of Men. Drives me nuts that in Europe I can order it on DVD, and here I can not.
Why do we have the BullS#it security laws like at airports, but If I want to get into the US, I can walk across the border. I mean who's going to stop someone, They are afraid they will goto prison if they try. Hell I am against drugs, but If we are going to let drugs flow into the US through the Mexico border, why not make them legal, collect taxes on them and such? I hate the whole were going to make this harder, and that easier to bypass. Besides who really needs a domain. theres tons of free sites.
Sheesh, I wish they would enforce turn signals, or my new favorite in Atlanta (I just noticed it in the past few months) is sitting in the middle of the street, hoping you will get thru the intersection before the light changes. Nothing pisses me off more than realizing I can not go cause Idiots are still in the middle of the intersection. My old pet peeve was turn signals. Or what about checking to see your lights work? I have come close to rear ending so many illegals (yes the part I am in is known for it) cause their brake lights don't work. geez. ya I hate traffic.
Who does any system work that can cause that type of problem during the day? I was taught if you have to do work on a machine that can cause a huge problem, do it during the night with damage is minimal, ie not many users on the system.
Actually there is a patch for windows. Only reason I know, is I did updates last week(for once) on my windows machines, and I read what each update is for.
I am really curious why we have become so patent crazy. I am sick (and tired) of how the people are running this country. Hell I am at the point where I want to run next term for office. Some how I don't think I will get elected. I think it has something to do with my thinking, like human knowledge belongs to the world type of thing. Like who would want a promoter of Open Source in office. I begin to question to much.
Why sue YouTube. Do you realize how many videos are uploaded every day? Do you realize how hard it would be to watch every fricken video to make sure it passes? Honestly I kind of like how some older material shows up. I watched "You can't do that on Television" as a kid. I got to watch a bunch of episodes on youtube, where I wouldn't be able to anyways. I saw Ducktales 3 days ago, and I found out it came out on DVD, so I went out and bought it. There is a great aspect to youtube, Think of it as TV, you can watch something, go, oo this is good, and go buy it. But if your gonna sue someone, why not sue the people who uploaded it, Or the company that originally released the item god knows when time ago, for making it easy to upload. lol.
I would love to put in laws that it was illegal to do silly lawsuits, and put in laws that weren't allowed to be vague, or full of loopholes. like the Do not call list, There is no way I would have let it be available for political parties to get allowed to call. Term Limits would be nice too. Do you realize Teddy Kennedy has been in office since his brother was president, new blood in office would do some good. Oh I plan to run next time I get a chance. I am tired of Corp America, running America, instead of for the people, by the people.
Curious. Realistically, The average home user is how likely to pirate a movie? Btw You do realize that the movies are completely digital these days, converting them to Windows format doesn't take much. Although I rather see an open video format get it, cause Some of us do not run windows, we use linux, unix, macs, and other OS's.
I think later this year, I will build a prototype voting machine, with a built in printer. Then have an open source project to set it up. I am tired of seeing security been a non-issue with the manufactures, I have worked on Diebold machines, I know I can build a better machine.

I have worked technical during the elections. During the class we took for it (4 hours). I realized half the technicians in the room never used a computer, let a lone fix one. It drove me nuts, I figured out how to service them in 20 mins. Almost Everyone else didn't get it, and kept asking questions. While I was there, I got bored and learned the layout of the building, where everything was. At one point the instructor couldn't find something, So I went into the back and grabbed it, Sadly you think this being an office of theres they would have stopped me when I was looking around in the first place.
You do realize the whole DRM thing isn't Apples fault, theres this little mafia called the RIAA (MPAA even for that matter) that really won't sell them songs to re-sell without DRM. Of all the choices I have, I like itunes. Heck I used itunes first then bought an ipod.
Last year my phone got stolen, luckily it was a crack head who didn't seem to bright, all i wanted was the sim card, he could keep the phone. Why cause like an idiot, I left some sensitive numbers on it. So what did I do from now one. Sensitive numbers are kept off all digial devices. Keep them on a black book, that I lock up. I don't need the numbers on me at all times, but then again I don't want others to have access to those numbers.

I am really getting sick of this, I want to run for politics cause of this stuff. I may be wrong, but isn't that a politian is supposed to represent the people, in the best intrest of the People, not Corp america?
Stories like this make me want to run for public office. I am sick of politians working for companies, not the people. They were elected to rep the people. I have a few things I would like to put in place. Disband the RIAA/MPAA, ban frivilous lawsuits, etc. There is so many things that companies have the US gov't do, that really isn't their job.
