""On top of that, if YouTube saw that people at Viacom were uploading such content, then how was it possible for YouTube to have any idea that Viacom didn't want the same content uploaded by others?"
That only works if it was the exact same content, I think."
How is YouTube able to know if a user has or does not have the right to upload the video? Unless users are required to verify who they are, and ALL of the licensed distributors/parties are given and updated by the minute to YouTube then they are to assume the unloader is acting in good faith.
That shows the incompetence of IT there. They should have caught it in the first day or so when they would have seen a computer was making requests after closing and in the morning before it opened to the public.
The station should have pressed on. If they become limited then never mention the Mets. "To day in sports no one cares about the NY baseball team since they place legal pressure on broad casters for promoting them. In other news the Reds won."
Make it apparent why they are no longer being included tell the truth.
Sorry but you have the wrong party non-health institutions are not bound by HIPAA. The doctors' office is though and violated HIPAA by disclosing confidential information.
Re: Re: Re: Juries don't need to understand the law.
"Tell me any non-lawyer who is familiar with every law, every statue, ordinance, etc of every federal, state, county and local law..."
Chrono covered some of what I was going to say but go into any introduction to law class on the first day and tell me what you are told. What you should hear is "It is your responsibility as a citizen to know every law."
"Seriously, what was the difference between this interview and Captain CEO Assclown just slapping the reporter across the face and insanely shouting, "I don't know what the fuck I'm doing!" in her face?"
I can't wait to see that interview I would use it in every class presentation that I could.
The problem is not that ES&S thinks that the two employees will start a competing company with the crappy software. The problem is that they do not want the crappy code released showing how bad it is.
"The law was put into place only because income derived from online gambling cannot be monitored and therefore does not generate tax revenue."
That does not make sense, the same thing could be said about Vegas gambling. All that would have to be done is pass a law stating when any funds are withdrawn from an online gambling taxes (federal) must be deducted from payout. Then if the site does not do so they would be charged with tax evasion and illegally running a gambling establishment.
And for safe measures place a hidden file system on the disk with a weak password and a few nasty viruses and trojans. That will make it fun if they copy the drive, just remember to mention that the computer has been acting up and you think it has a virus.
