This is why I hate Microsofts "helpful" features. If I wanted December 1st I would type that. I know what I'm doing and it takes twice as long to go back through and correct the mistakes that Microsoft created for me.
Let's be honest here. The EU made a terrible ruling and instead of correcting it they are doubling down. They want Google to stop embarrassing them with the truth
Anyone else read the name Jeh and think it's a partial name? Apparantly it's a variant of Jay. Off topic I realize but that name just makes me pause everytime I read it.
I keep reading the title as How Parents Are Stopping Your Microwave From Being Awesome. It's dissapointing everytime when I realize it's patents. Much less interesting.
"customers are supposed to test their systems monthly" wouldn't all of the false positives annoy comcast and decrease the usefullness of the service? Do other home security companies have this written into their contracts?
What's good for deaf, blind, and disabled users is good for everybody. A free open internet has been benefits EVERYONE and lobbyists are in search of a problem to fit their solution.
Some people just don't know when to quit. This whole thing would die down if he could just shut up but apparantly that's asking too much. If Mayor Ardis has a lawyer he should consult that lawyer before saying anything else. He could be creating more problems for himself.
Just so we're clear the NSA is to big to comply but Google better police the internet and remove anything that the court compels them to. Two sets of rules at play here.
With the presence of terrorist activity these security guards are going to need a MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle). It's long overdue and this incident just highlights the fact.
Why don't these aliens get with whatever home planet GaGa is from and I am sure we could trade licenses for music for the continuation of the planet. Then again the RIAA might not agree to such a deal as there is only life involved and not huge sums of money.
I read a few days ago an article about how Netflix's deals were coming due and while they got by with just paying hundreds of thousands to stream what they have the big studios were now demanding BILLIONS. As soon as I read that I knew this would be coming. I just didn't anticipate it so quickly. It's sad that most of the hate is being directed toward Netflix when it should be directed towards the movie studios. Aside from Linux support any problem that people have with Netflix can be tied back to old media content who don't understand that they overvalue their content and undervalue the service.
It doesn't but we can safely assume that what google was gathering was through radio and not laser. This means that what they did was not illegal wiretapping. That's my point. This is a radio broadcast and not a laser broadcast
How many places of buisness have a router, that uses lasers, and on an open frequency though? For this specific case I think we can safely assume that these open WIFI spots were using consumer brand linksys, belkin or some other radio broadcasting band as that is what %99.999 of businesses use. Am I mistaken?
My point exactly. He has a fairly strong fan base and yet nobody heard about his new album. Universal has lost sales because it sucks and letting people know about it's product. Universal should focus on their core business a little more and worry less about piracy.
Isn't this what Nelly was complaining about on Twitter when his latest album was released? He made what he felt was quality music but the label did nothing to promote him or his new record. http://www.eurweb.com/?p=68002
I checked and his label is Motown Records, part of Universal Records. Looks like his ranting was on the mark.
