I can't believe Mike would get one of his staff members to purposefully misconstrue something so badly so that he could make the other side of the argument look like crap.
That guy must be a professional straw man. I want that job.

Re: WOW! Now I know about marking up / renting sheet music!
You also said that if people made comments that were off topic and just boiled down to making fun of you without mentioning the content/quality/whatever of the comment that you made that you'd leave. I commented directly after that and you have not left yet. You will never leave. You enjoy being here because you know that every time you post one of your retarded, half-coherent rants that three or four people will reply to them. I have a feeling that the people you know in real life hate you, or that your mother didn't hug you enough (or too much!) so you feel the need to go somewhere that people will make fun of you just to get some semblance of human contact, even if it is over a computer.
I won't be like some of the others and tell you to leave. I won't tell you that you shouldn't be entitled to your opinion, no matter how wrong headed I think it is. I will just say that if you were to leave I would personally not miss you, but I do wish you the best. I hope your mother starts hugging you enough (or hugs you less...whatever needs to happen).

Work harder on that. I would like to offer my services (for a small fee) to help you become better at communicating your ideas with more venom and bile.

Seriously?
Fucking hell. Are any politicians watching this shit? I don't give a damn about the TSA because I don't fly but this is retardulous. My biggest problem is that I don't see why they wouldn't even let her show her medical card explaining the situation.
My ex went through VNS therapy for epilepsy and she would have set off all sorts of scanners. She also has a lump in the upper left of her chest where the VNS system resides. She was given a card by the doctor that has the details of the device and her doctor's name and phone number. If this situation had ever popped up with her, they could have easily set off her epilepsy (she was very fragile, and any serious stress or scrutiny set her into seizures).
How much bad press does it take to get these jackasses to do what they're supposed to rather than being power-hungry douchebags? How many times do we have to hear about that before realizing that this is not an isolated incident?

Trolling
Really? No trolling? I'm offended by this and believe they should remove that portion entirely.
In fact, I'm offended by the whole document. It should be burned because of the way I feel. We should protect all of the children that are trolls. They obviously hate all children since they will all offend someone at some point.
We'll just have to agree to disagree on this. I think the good and honest police officers would and do testify against the idiots who do retarded things. I think that the ones that don't get pressure from superiors (many of whom rose in the ranks for the same reason government officials rise....they're sociopaths). That's still not a problem with the officer. That's a problem with the people up the chain who withhold promotions and make people's lives hell for cooperating.
The silent majority aren't in a position to do anything about it. The silent minority of their superiors are. Haul them in front of IA, but regular cops can't do a thing to stop or reprimand someone for doing something like this.
Exactly. Cops are a bit like religious folks. Most are good people who live and let live. They want to be happy and they want others to be happy. However, a very loud vocal minority are what we hear about because they make the news more entertaining (plus, you know, they're LOUD).
I had forgotten that study until you just brought it up. Thanks for reminding me.
It makes me wonder: Is the effect worse when someone has a predisposition of being a bully? It would seem to me that someone that enjoys lording power, size, and control over others would be the first person that would apply to be a police officer (not that all police officers are like that) and that the effect found during the Stanford Prison Experiment would just compound an already crappy attitude towards others.
We know they have the interests of society at heart, not their own profits.
Exactly. So even if they DID (I am not saying they do) have the government in their pocket, they'd only use that power for good. I still don't see the problem here.

Why do you paint it to look like the MPAA has our government in its pocket?
