Here's a better suggestion, let's do away with the whole two part system and, instead, elect people who understand their purpose is to represent the citizens of this country, not the corporations and special interests. How?? Damned if I know, with as much money as is currently involved in campaigns, it probably isn't possible.
As I recall he didn't steal their logo. He may have modified and adapted it for his use, but he certainly did not take their logo and deny them the use of it. To that end, as with the post previous to yours, he just about inverted it, then changed the lines some, so it is almost completely opposite.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Not a big money raiser, but good deal for the fan
Except for two things. Infringement is making an exact duplicate, not stealing her property, and the fact that her fans have consistently provided her with funding for her music. So your argument is fundamentally flawed.
While I agree with you general idea, please do not continue to use the word thieves. File sharing is not theft, as has been demonstrated numerous times, and as the supreme court has noted.
While I certainly wouldn't label the Eau Claire Leader/Telegram (http://www.leadertelegram.com/) a large paper, several months ago I went to their site only to find a paywall. Guess how many times, I've been back since.
The problem is with corporations becoming so diversified, its hard to buy anything without giving them some form of funding. I mean, seriously, we have to have transportation, fuel, energy, and sustenance. While entertainment might seem to be a very small percentage of our spending, some things like what we spend on our cell phones, landlines, internet connections, etc is going into other pockets that help the entertainment lobbyists. Its really hard to avoid spending money on every corporation that lobbies for the pro IP side.
Re: very out a business if they get caught doing it
And you think that the point would be something other than to create hostility towards the businesses? Seems like it would make it easier for the police to track down so called "criminals" if they didn't have access to fairly anonymous setups like those at a cybercafe.
While I'm terribly thrilled by the show, although there are some really hot witches, my wife loves the show, never missed an episode and bought the DVD's.
